In color card sets

I have this really cute in color card set to share with you today.  Again it is a case'd card that I have made.

( honestly there are so many cute cards shared that I want to make it may be years before I do one of my own, lol)

It is a very simple yet elegant card and I hope the girl receiving this set loves it as much as I do.

This card is almost exactly like the original one with the greetings changed and I didn't add anymore pearls to the card other than on the butterfly. I made them in all the in colors for this year.  I just went to look for her blog link so I could link to her picture and totally forgot about the crumbcake/vanilla combo one she done. Now that is on my list!!!

You can click her picture to get to her blog.

July My Paper Pumpkin Kit

The My paper pumpkin kit for July arrived Tuesday! It is fun to get something in the mail each month and not know what it is! For the most part I never get anything that I do not already know is coming. Even for Christmas and my birthday do I rarely get a surprise so these are really nice. It's like a Christmas present every month!

They arrive in pretty orange boxes and this beautiful pool party tissue paper.

This months kit is a banner kit! It is adorable!

You get your picture with directions on how to assemble the kit,

and all the contents! This one has 2 ink spots! Summer starfruit and pool party, tiny little clothespins, skewers, die cut banners, foam dimensionals, and 3 stamps! This has been the best kit yet I think!

I really like these stamps. It is nice to have stamps to give a background to different things.

Now to just figure out what I am going to do with this set. If I had not already had my catalog kick off party I would have used it on my table setting. No birthday's coming up in the family for the near future so I will just have to find something else to use it for.

Cascading Birthday Card

This card is for a friends daughter and I really hope she likes it!
I saw these cards on a couple different blogs and loved them! I was mostly inspired by the cards here. Absolutely gorgeous!

But since her instructions were for Australian sized paper, I used the tutorial from here.

Birthday Stamp~a~stack

The birthday stamp a stack went great! All the girls that came had fun and took home some great cards!

Here are a couple of the cards we made.

This one uses the quatrafancy DSP, teeny tiny wishes stamp set, mosaic madness stamp set and embossing folder and matching punch, pool party ink and cardstock.

This card I decided to do in two colors so they could have more of a variety when sending them out.
The green one is retired lucky limeade and the pink is the new Strawberry Slush!

We also made 2 other cards  I will try to post later this week.
Everyone went home with 20 cards to use for upcoming birthdays.

If you missed this stamp~a~stack but would like to receive any of the card packets to make the cards we made, email me and I can get you a packet in the mail. (stamped images are not included, you can order the stamp set we used, or use a different stamp from your own stash.)

Very quick simple cards, this one uses the washi tape, island indigo cardstock and ribbon, and new label love stamp, along with black marker for the outline on the card front.

same products except using melon mambo cardstock

These were so quick to make. Luckily for me because I needed some birthday cards to mail this week!

April My Paper Pumpkin!

The new My Paper Pumpkin kit arrived in my mailbox today! I love getting boxes in the mail but I usually know what is coming because it is something I have ordered and that is exciting enough, but to get a box and have no idea what is in it, takes me back to being a kid and ripping open Christmas presents. So if you have yet to get your April kit in the mail and don't want the surprise spoiled, stop reading now. If you want to see what this months kit looks like, scroll down.

Here is the box. It was still not the pretty orange box that will soon be coming
but it was packaged very nice. Everything was wrapped in tissue with
a pretty paper pumpkin sticker sealing it shut.

I had to laugh when I opened this because the largest stamp in it (this one contains 3 stamps)
says "seriously" and that happens to be quite a popular phrase in our house. The papers in this kit
were very cute and I love the stamps in it. It also included buttons, twine, and envelopes. I have not put the cards together yet but will post them as soon as I do.

If you don't want to miss out on May's My paper pumpkin kit, sign up today to have your
own surprise delivered directly to your door. Make sure to put me as your demonstrator and I will send you an extra gift!

Another Sneak Peek item!

To say I am excited about these products is an understatement!  If you have been reading my blog, I have wanted to start a project life album this year. Part of my problems were I wanted to use only SU products so that I could show them on my blog and I am using the album and divided protectors but many other items are not SU. NOW I CAN USE STAMPIN' UP! ITEMS!!  I am super excited about the rotary date stamp and washi tapes. The fact that we can order these new catalog items early and at a bundled discount just makes it that much better!!

To see a closer picture click here!  To order this or any other product contact me or use online ordering 24/7

Want to earn free products! Host a Stampin' Up! party!  We can do an online party or in home party. Contact me for details.

Card bouquet

Here is one of the items I used for auction at the quarter auction I participated in this past weekend. It was a card bouquet with 6 handmade cards, an aluminum garden stake made with the big shot and blossom punch, and a free card class for 5 people.  This item did pretty well at the auction and I am planning to make more :)

Friendship

This was one of our cards we made at my Sale-a-bration Celebration on Tuesday evening!
Very cute and quick card that went together very easily. Uses the great From My heart Stamp set, and some cute framelits and new papers from the Print Poetry designer papers stack in the Spring catalog. This card design came from a lady on a group I belong to called Sudsol. If you are a Stampin' Up! demo, I highly suggest you join this group! They are phenomenal at answering questions quickly and helping with business ideas.
If you would like to attend a class check out my calendar on the right side of my blog for upcoming classes. An April schedule will be posted very soon. Also, I am going to be adding a Card Buffet to my line up.

Altered New testament

I have been really busy this week and have not been great at updating my blog. Not only have I had two classes that I had to prepare for (cards from those will be on here this week!) I have been trying to get ready for a vendor fair/quarter auction this coming weekend.  I have really only done holiday craft shows before so they were mostly Christmas themed items and didn't really know what to make for a spring one. The first thing I had made was the altered jr legal pads , and then I made some of these covered new testament Bibles. I thought they would make cute Easter basket gifts. I used some new and some retired DSP on these, along with saying from the Trust God stamp set.

Can you tell me what this is??

I thought this card was pretty obvious but when asking some family members only one got it right without me telling. So can you tell me what this is supposed to be???

I got the card idea from here, thought this video was pretty funny, lol

More Butterflies!

I told you there would be more butterflies!  Loved the butterfly card and had to do it in more colors. I think it makes a great all occasion card. Cute for birthday, get well, anything really. Since the punch only uses a small bit of paper to make a card I will be making tons of these to have on hand. You would be seeing dozens right now had I not ran out of linen thread and pearls!

Butterflies!

This card is so simple yet so beautiful!   A few weeks ago I came across the most gorgeous simple looking card and knew I had to make it.  I ordered the butterfly punch from the spring catalog JUST to make this card.  The bad part is I saw the card but before I could save it the phone rang and when I came back my daughter was playing ABC mouse on my laptop so it never got saved. Not even a screen shot.  I remembered the card and have googled stampin up butterfly, stampin up butterflies, everything for the last few days and can not find it. Which makes me think it was on SC or something and I will have to check out the gallery further. It also showed me about 50 more cards I need to use the butterfly punches and dies on!

My card does not compare to the one I saw. She had beautiful stitching around the edges but I did not want to drag out my sewing machine. I also know that hers had monochromatic butterflies but couldn't remember if they went light to dark or dark to light.
UPDATE:  I found the card! Apparently I pinned it to my pinterest board when I found it! So here is the link to the card

There were a couple more of these but I already mailed them off. Love the simple look of the white layer on the white and the butterflies. The stitching would have added to it but I am happy with how they turned out. I WILL be making many more of these!

Birthday Balloons

This card today is pretty cute I think. I knew when I saw it that I would be making some for birthdays this month.  I case'd this card. Not sure what she used for her balloons since Stampin' Up! does not have a balloon punch but I can tell you what I used.

I used the 1 3/8 inch circle punch along with the owl punch to make my balloons.  For the balloon knot I punched the polka dot papers with the owl punch, cut off one foot and the top of the owl and glued it onto my circle punch.  The wish Big stamp is from the Word play set. The cards also use the new cloudy day embossing folder, ruffled ribbon and bakers twine. The red and blue ribbons are not SU unfortunately I did not have matching ribbons for them and had to do with what I had.
