I probably say this every year but I am loving the new in colors this year!! Usually I like one or two and the rest are ho-hum, but this year I love EVERY. SINGLE. ONE!!!
I was upset when we lost midnight muse and while dapper denim is not quite the same, I think it takes its place quite nicely.
If you place an order with me during the month of June you will receive a FREE set of these gorgeous cards.
*not my original design was found by multiple people on Pinterest
All you need to do to get your FREE CARDS, is place an order and use the hostess code: UCNPYMMN
Please be sure not to check the box that says no contact or I will not know who to send these lovely goodies to.

Simply Sketched
Another card sample from my Catalog Launch last week. I loved this card when I saw it and I am not really a flower/bird card type person. I avoided buying any floral stamp sets for ages and really only picked this set because I liked the font on the sentiments. But this card and the following one really made me want to use this set! And I am not one for watercoloring either but I had so much fun making these!
I used blushing bride and chocolate chip cardstock and the retired early edition paper.
This one uses pistachio pudding cardstock as well as whisper white and the flowers are colored using pistachio, and strawberry slush ink pads and a blender pen.
The other card that made me ink this set up quickly is this card and I have pretty much cased them completely! No point in changing something that's perfect as is.

Project Life update.
Project Life
If you have been to my blog around the beginning of the year, you know I had intentions to do a Project Life album. I don't know about you but I always have good intentions to do something (especially around the beginning of a new year) that don't always work out. I took some pictures here and there but not regularly (with the exception of Disney and I have too many from that, lol) Anyway, here it is the beginning of April and I have not done ANYTHING with project life except upload some pictures from my phone to my computer. Notice I didn't say to be printed but at least they made it to my computer right? Well that is about to change. With the introduction of Stampin' Up!'s This and That line, it made my renew my goal of completing a project life album this year. At the moment I am not using all SU products, that may change when I see what all they have in the new IBC, but for now I am using a mixture of SU and a project life core kit. The kit I bought came with an album and it's cute but I prefer the crumb cake linen album I bought from SU for it so I am keeping it for this years album. I am using the project life protectors as well as the SU divided page protectors because they give me some different layout options so I won't get bored with the same layout over and over. And the new Rotary Stamp from Stampin' Up! will work wonderfully with this project!!! The kit arrived in the mail yesterday and after the boys track meet I opened it and got busy uploading my photos to Walmart but that has been it so far. The photos will get picked up this evening and I hope to show you all a cute layout or two by tomorrow evening!

Book marks
Ok, so while you are reading this I will be at a vendor fair. Please wish me luck! This is one of the items I took with me today. These are crumpled flower bookmarks. I have used some double sided DSP, some current and some retired to make these adorable scalloped flowers and turned them into really cute bookmarks. I hope the people at the craft show think they are as cute as I do. Hopefully not everyone has turned to reading all their books on a Kindle like I do making bookmarks obsolete, lol.
If you are in the area, the vendor fair/quarter auction is taking place at the Village Inn and Suites in Coshocton at 1pm today. Come see me!

Oh Hello.
Many cards I find late at night while browsing the internet and the easiest way for me to go back through them without taking hours clicking back on blog links is to take a screen shot of the card and it saves it to my desktop where I can put it in the folder for that stamp set. The downside to that is if the photo does not have a watermark or something I can not save the info from where I got it. I try to go back if I use the card and find the picture again but sometimes I can not.
This was case'd from fellow Demo Sue Scheets, I changed very little to the card since it seemed perfect as she had it.
This card uses the Oh Hello stamp set from the Spring Mini (love this set think it is my favorite!) Colors used are bashful blue, crumb cake and early espresso. The sentiment is from the Trust God set in the large idea book and catalog. Sorry about the glare on the picture. I have been putting all my cards in sleeves since I have been making them otherwise cute little tiny hands wants to play with them and they don't last long enough to mail.

Back in the saddle
It has been forever since I have been blogging. Mostly because I just have not been creating anything but in the past few weeks I have finally gotten back into crafting again! I made 5 cards yesterday, they are all pretty much the same except the color schemes. And they were cased from Dawn McVeys Blog, here. She also has an awesome tutorial for making the gorgeous flowers. (Note to self, stop by the local library sale and pick up some old books!)
Sorry the picture isn't very clear, I uploaded from my phone and had to email it so it became blurry when I enlarged it. I know I said 5 cards and I did make 5 cards, I just hadn't made the 5th one when I took the picture. The scallop punch for the flowers, the scallop border punch and most of the cardstock are from stampin' up as is the little "just because" saying on the tags.
