Easy Holiday Treat Containers

My friend and fellow demo are doing FREE card making classes at the local community center on Mondays and this week I brought samples in to show them how they can make easy little treat containers for kids parties or just for fun.

Many of you have made or at least seen the sour cream containers before, but just encase you haven't, here are the ones I made.

Of course these use some of my favorite stamps from the Holiday Catalog. I just can't stop using that Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and the Cookie Cutter halloween set is just as cute! Just by changing the paper and the little person on the front you can have treats for all the different upcoming holidays. I was going to add a bat to that Mummy one but I forgot, lol.

I will put directions on later but you can find many on Pinterest.

The paper size is 4 1/2x 6 for these which makes them a tad bit smaller but they still hold a decent amount of candy and there is not much wasted paper.

Don't forget that there is a great sale going on right now at Stampin' Up! on

designer series paper

and some other great things for World Card making day (which was October 1st!)

If you place an order and use hostess code B34V447C and I will mail you a FREE gift!

Who doesn't want FREE paper?

If you are anything like me, then you will LOVE this sale on paper!! I don't know about you, but I don't think I could ever have enough paper. I think my husband and kids would disagree though, lol.

Seriously, I think I could buy 50 packs of the Candy Cane Lane paper just so I could still have some after I make all the adorable cards I see on Pinterest using it.

If you would like to take advantage of this Paper Sale, use Hostess Code: B34V447C and you will get a FREE gift from me!

Best of Autumn Set now available!

So they have released the new "Best of" set for September and it is the Best of Autumn set!

Very cute for all your fall cards and projects.

I LOVE fall. It is my most favorite time of the year. I love the weather, the colors, the smells. Baking pumpkin muffins and apple fritters. Having homemade pumpkin spice donuts with my vanilla coffee in the morning sitting out on the deck.  I just LOVE fall!

With all of that said, I realize I don't really make many fall related cards. Yes, I did just have a fall cards class and have another one upcoming, but if it was not for those classes, I probably would not have any cards at all made for the season. If you did not get any of the fall stamps from the Holiday mini, (and if you didn't why not?) then take a look at these, they may be just what you are looking for.

So what stamp in the set is your favorite?  I really like the tree, but have to say the sentiment is my favorite and would be the most used. I love the curly font!

To order this set or any other Stampin' Up! item go to my online store

this set is item # 134390 and is $14.95.

Digital Download Day!

Todays digital download releases include many items for fall! I don't know about you but fall is my favorite time of the year and it does not last long enough. Love the colors, the air, the carmel apples at the fair! All the pumpkin and apple recipes....  I think fall and spring should each last 4 months and then  we could have 2 months each of summer and winter. Anyway, I will stop rambling and show you the new downloads.

This set is called Harvest of Thanks and coordinates with many of our dies and punches to make quick tags or card elements.
