Birthday Card

This weekend is our friends daughters 18th birthday, and she left last week for college so her mom wanted to do something for her since she was feeling kind of lonely at college and have everyone send her a card. She really likes elephants so that's what I went with. Last year I sent her one with an SU punch art elephant so wanted to do something different this year.

I used a cutting file called Pocket Full of Posies from scrappinbugdesigns.   The files on this site are absolutely adorable!  The elephant body is cut from smoky slate cardstock and inked in the same color. The ears and heart on toe are pretty in pink, and the rest are scraps from my scrap box so I am not positive on them.  I put him on a cloud embossed background and made a little banner for the sentiment.
