SUDSOL Blog Tour!

Today is the day!! The SUDSOL Blog tour featuring products from the fabulous new Holiday catalog is underway!

What is Sudsol? Well it is probably THE best group that you could be part of if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. They are wonderful! There are terrific challenges each week, a daily 15 minute business builder task, yahoo group where you can get answers or help with anything in a matter of minutes!, terrific articles, tutorials, an awesome gallery of unique samples, and sooooo much more.  I wish I would have found the group sooner.  Want to try it for yourself?  Click the banner below to get a FREE TWO WEEK TRIAL!

SUDSOL - 24/7 Upline

Now to get on with the projects!

The first project today is a very simple card using the new christmas washi tapes.   It is so simple but so cute. You could easily mass produce many of these for your Christmas cards this year.

I used a whisper white base with an embossed whisper white panel on top of it. Then a smaller white panel with the sentiment stamped on it. For the image I cute a 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 square of white cardstock then put strips of washi tape down it and wrapped them behind it, adhered with dimensionals and tied a little bow and added it. SIMPLE! This card was a total case from Sandy Mathis except the different ribbon and sentiment.

Next up another super simple card. This card uses the stylish stripes embossing folder and Joy to the World stamp set.

I used cherry cobbler for the base, then embossed the top half of my white panel with the striped embossing folder. I then stamped my sentiment in cherry cobbler ink and although you can not tell from the picture I added dazzling diamonds to it for a little more bling.  The bow was made using the oval punch, a 3/4 circle punch, (or you could cut a little strip of paper for the middle, personally I like the circle at times) and a 2 3/4 x 3/4 inch strip of silver paper that I used the hexagon punch on to make the banner points.

Next up I have my Holiday Planner. I can see this going everywhere with me starting next month or so. It has a cute cover that you can decorate with anything you want. I chose to use the year and some christmas papers, along with a bow made from my FAVORITE THING IN THE CATALOG!!!, the new bow die!! Oh my gosh if  you have not seen this in person yet, find a demo and check it out or better yet, just get it. You will love this die!  You can make the bow as a single bow, you can layer it, you can turn the tails down, many many different options for this and can you imagine how great this is going to be on christmas gifts and bags this year!! I think every present I give is going to need a bow.

That's just the outside! Inside this planner has 4 month's worth of calendar pages, a section for your card list and who you sent and received them from, gift idea/budget section by person, entertaining, you name it, it's there. This will be so helpful in keeping up with all the chaos of the holidays. Not to mention it is so much cuter an much more well laid out then the plain notebook I usually carry to write all this in.

and I had to make some of the small bow paperclips so that I could turn to my sections I use most often much quicker.

Well I hope you enjoyed your stop by my blog and have fun getting more great ideas from the others on the blog tour.
