Totes and Bows

I made some more of the cute little card and tote sets that we will be making this month during my classes. I wanted to show more of the colors so made a couple more sets. I did not get the pistachio one made yet but hope to this week.

My pre-order from the Holiday Catalog also arrived and I was able to play with some things in it. I am LOVING the bow die. I did not think that was something that I would use, but it is soooo cute that I just keep playing with it and putting bows on everything!

3 of the 4 color choices for the upcoming classes. Credit goes to Chiaki Haverstick for the card and tote design.

This is the crisp cantaloupe option. Didn't think I would like this color much when they came out, but it is really growing on me.

Here is one of the bows made with the bow die! See isn't it adorable!!

Another bow using the same die but with the tails turned differently and another one layered on. This die makes 2 different size bows that you can use to make many looks.

Here is the coastal cabana set. Everyone seems to adore this color! It is so pretty in real life.

If you wish to stop by and take part in this class, there are openings on July 25 or 26.  Just contact me and chose your color! If you are not in this area but would like to take part in this class, I can mail you a class packet but you will need to stamp images using stamps you have or you may order the ones we used.

Happy Father's Day!

Today is Father's Day and my poor husband worked last night until 11 this morning and went back to work at 7 tonight so while he was home he slept and we didn't see him much.

We have a little inside joke going that has to do with a cow so I knew I wanted a cow on his card.
This is what I came up. I googled "punch art cow" and took bits and pieces of different ones.  All seemed to use a punch I did not have for the cow "ears" so I used the bitty butterfly punch and cut it in half and I think it made very nice ears with a shape that looks much more natural.

This picture looks distorted but didn't when I uploaded it? Very odd.

In Color Mosaic Madness

Another Mosaic Madness card! This set was one of the pre-order sets so I have made quite a few cards using this set while waiting to be able to order from the new catalog. I really do love how versatile it is. And the embossing folder has quickly become my new favorite I think. Although how do you choose a favorite embossing folder? That would be like choosing a favorite candy. I like many different ones, depending on the mood I am in or what sounds good at the time.  This card was case'd from this blog. Have to say I am loving her blog. All her squirrel pictures are so me.  I am pretty sure I have adult ADD so I can totally relate to her posts. Maybe that is a common trait for crafty people? We just have so much going on in our heads it all kind of comes out together and only makes sense to others with the same personality?  Anyway, here is the card (her picture is much better, I really need to work on that)

This card showcases every one of the new in colors without being overwhelming with all the colors.
